Setup

Pick lists

Keep the questions your session notes ask, answered from your clinic's own options with parent and child options, such as antecedents grouped by function.

Pick lists are questions notes ask, answered from your clinic's own options. They work for every discipline: a list with no templates chosen is asked on every daily note, and a list with templates is asked on documents built from those templates. Authors answer them in the note's Pick lists section (see Daily notes).

Open Setup > Pick lists. Anyone with access to Setup can see the lists; adding, editing or deleting one needs permission to manage clinical setup. Click New Pick List and fill in:

  • Question, such as Antecedents, and an optional description shown in its help.
  • Several answers: off, authors pick one option.
  • Required to sign: a note that leaves it unanswered cannot be signed.
  • Options: add each option, and choose Under to place it below another, one level deep. On the note an option under another reads as Parent: Option, such as Demand placed: Transition between activities.

Options you remove from a list are retired; signed notes keep their answers. Deleting a list stops new notes asking it.
