Home programs
Assign home activities and caregiver lessons from your library, see what families practiced, copy a usage summary into a progress report and reply to family journal entries.
A home program is what a patient practices between visits. You pick activities from your clinic's home activity library, families follow them in the family portal and log each practice, and you see the results on the chart. Open a chart and choose Home program in the side menu.
Assigning an activity#
Click Assign Activity and pick an entry From the library. Its name, steps and links fill in, and you can tailor them for this patient; the library entry stays as it was. Then set:
- Start and, optionally, End.
- Times per week: the practice goal the family sees. Leave it empty for no goal.
- Note to the family (optional): a tip that shows above the steps.
A caregiver lesson is done once, so it has no weekly goal; the family marks it done.
The list shows practice in the last 7 days against the goal and the last practice day. Click an activity to edit it and see what the family logged (day, minutes, how it went and their note). End removes it from the portal; its log stays on the chart.
Usage for progress reports#
Home program usage totals what the family logged for a period: practices against the goal, practice days, minutes and the share of the goal met, plus lessons completed. Pick the dates and click Show, then Copy Summary for a sentence you can paste into a progress report.
Family journal#
Caregivers can write journal entries about home and choose which providers may read each one, or share it with the whole care team. Family journal lists the entries you may read. Click an entry's day to read it with its replies and post your own reply, which the caregiver sees in the portal. Entries cannot be edited or deleted once written.
