Charge catalog

The charge catalog lists the fees and supplies staff charge patients for outside a visit, such as therapy supplies or a records copy fee. Picking an item when you add a manual charge fills its code, name and price.

Open Setup > Billing setup > Charge Catalog.

Add an item#

1. Click New Catalog Item.
2. Enter a Name and a Code of up to five letters or digits.
3. Enter a Price, or leave it blank for an item you price each time.
4. Click Create Item.

Retire an item#

Turn off Active to stop offering an item, or delete it. Charges already added from it keep the code, name and price they were added with.
