Audit analytics
See how signed notes fare in documentation audits, with fail rates by rule, author, payer and location, the average score and the charges audits hold.
Open Documentation > Audit analytics to see how notes signed in the last 30, 90 or 365 days fared in their latest audit. Each note counts once.
The cards at the top show:
- Notes audited in the range.
- Fail rate: the share of those notes with at least one finding.
- Average score, with how many notes fall in each score band: 0 to 30, 31 to 70, 71 to 99 and 100.
- Open findings on those notes. Click it to work them in Note audits.
- Charges held by audits: unbilled charges waiting as Audit findings open, and their amount.
- AI agreement: how often reviewers agreed with the AI when they rated it, on the range's notes. Ratings of AI findings and of AI verdicts marked met both count.
Below them, the fail rate is broken down:
- By rule: how many notes each check or audit rule applied to and how many failed it. A rule that fails often may need clearer wording, or authors may need training on it. For an AI guideline rule, AI agreement shows the share of reviewer ratings that agreed and how many there were; under 80% the rule is marked Reword, a sign its wording leaves the AI unsure.
- By author, By payer and By location: the notes, how many had findings, the fail rate and the average score of each.
To keep an eye on findings from the dashboard, add the Failed audits widget. It shows the open findings awaiting review and opens Note audits.
Audit analytics needs the Clinical: Audit Review permission and covers the patients you can see.
