Home activities
Build the library of home activities and caregiver lessons clinicians assign as home programs, with steps families follow and links to videos or guides.
The home activity library holds what clinicians assign for practice at home. Go to Setup > Home activities.
Adding an activity#
Click New Activity and fill in:
- Kind: Home activity is practiced on a schedule and logged each time. Clinics with applied behavior analysis also have Caregiver lesson, a short training the family completes once and marks done.
- Name: what families see, such as
Picture naming game. - Steps: one step per line, in plain words. The portal numbers them.
- Links (optional): up to five
https://links to a video or a guide with pictures.
Click Create Activity.
Changing or retiring an activity#
Use Edit from a row's menu. Changes apply the next time someone assigns the activity; patients who already have it keep their own copy, which a clinician can tailor on the chart's home program.
Retire takes an activity out of the picker without touching any patient's home program. Restore brings it back.
