ABA

ABA record exports

Export a learner's service record (every signed ABA document in a date range) or a payer audit packet for chosen sessions, as one PDF built in the background.

When a payer, a family or a new provider asks for a learner's records, build them from the learner's chart instead of printing documents one by one. Open the learner's chart, go to Documentation and choose the Record exports tab. You need permission to read notes and ABA plans.

Both exports build in the background. When one is ready you get a notification, and you download it from My exports under Reports. Exports that hold patient records can be downloaded for 24 hours.

Service record#

Click Export Service Record, pick the first and last dates (up to two years apart) and click Export. The PDF starts with a cover page listing every document, then holds each signed ABA document dated in the range (session notes, treatment plans, assessments, reports and monthly summaries) as it was signed, with its signatures and addenda. Drafts are left out.

Payer audit packet#

The tab lists the learner's signed sessions, newest first. Tick the sessions a payer asked about (up to 50) and click Build Audit Packet. For each session the packet has a summary page, followed by the session's signed notes:

SectionWhat it shows
SessionDate, start and end time, rendering provider, location and place of service.
ServicesEach code with its minutes and units.
Caregiver signatureWho signed for the session, their relationship and when, or that no signature is on file.
Session dataThe data summary inserted in the note: programs and targets with their results, and behavior totals.
SupervisionSupervision linked to the session or overlapping it, with the supervisor, time, mode and whether the learner was observed.
Signed notesThe notes that follow in the packet, with when each was signed.
