Unstaffed patients

Open Patients > Unstaffed patients to see each open episode (active or on hold) with nobody in its discipline's staffing role on the care team today. For speech and occupational therapy that is the primary therapist; for ABA it is a technician (see ABA staffing).

The list shows the patient, the discipline, the role the episode needs, the case lead when the needed role is not the lead, the start of care and, when someone held the role before, the day their membership ended. Click a patient to open the care team and add someone.

Viewing the list needs Patient chart: Read; it shows only patients you may open.

Find staff#

Open a row's menu and click Find Staff to rank the providers of the episode's discipline for that patient. Each provider gets a score out of 100 from:

• how much of the patient's weekly availability falls in the provider's free working hours next week (their availability less what is already booked); only windows in effect next week count, and a window held to one location only meets the provider's hours there,
• whether they work at the patient's location,
• whether they hold a current credential of the discipline,
• how far their default location is from the patient's home (when both have map coordinates), and
• whether they treated the patient before.

The reasons show under each provider, with their current caseload. Click Add to Care Team to add the provider in the staffing role from today; the patient leaves the list.
