Your clinic trusts us with sensitive information. This page explains what we collect and how we protect it.
Who this policy covers
This policy describes how NeatPractice handles information about visitors to this website and about the clinic staff who use the product. Patient information that clinics store in NeatPractice is protected health information. We process it only on the clinic's behalf, under a Business Associate Agreement and HIPAA, and never for our own purposes.
Information we collect
- Account details for clinic staff: name, work email, role and sign-in events.
- Information you send us, such as a demo request or a support message.
- Basic technical data about how the website and app are used, collected without patient information.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and support the service.
- To respond to demo requests and questions.
- To understand which features are used so we can improve them. Product analytics never include patient information.
Retention and deletion
Clinics control how long their records are kept, subject to state retention rules. When a clinic leaves, it receives a full export before its data is permanently removed.
Your choices
Clinic staff can ask their clinic administrator to update their account. Patients should contact their clinic, which controls their records. Anyone can write to us with privacy questions.
